Josh Dean, CEM, LEED AP O+M, Fitwel Ambassador
Josh has professional experience working in the real estate, sustainability and construction industries. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, a Green Building Certificate from Colorado State University, and is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED Accredited Professional in O+M. He has been involved in the Existing Buildings Committee and Green Assistance Program at SDGBC since 2013, and he has worked on LEED EBOM and energy projects throughout Colorado and San Diego County.
David Adler, LEED GA
David is a native San Diegan who enjoys all facets of sustainability and how they affect us here locally. He has experience in small-scale commercial and municipal energy efficiency projects, water conservation projects, waste management policies and green business initiatives while working for the City of Chula Vista. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University in Economics, a Certificate of Knowledge of Building Science Principles and is a LEED Green Associate, pursuing LEED Accredited Professional.
Bridget Rickman, GPRO O+M
Bridget is a San Diego native whose passion for the environment began during childhood. Whether it was participating in beach cleanups, after school recycling programs, or her various work with non-profits across the county, she has been determined to take a hands-on approach to sustainability for years. She has experience in education, non-profits, and sustainable development with a passionate desire to explore Environmental Justice and Biophilic Design. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from San Diego State University in Sustainability with a minor in Anthropology and is a Citizen's Water Academy Alum.
Robert Carr, MA, LEED AP O+M, Fitwel Ambassador
Program and Education Consultant
Robert has been in the teaching profession for 20 years as a flight instructor, science teacher and education consultant. To begin his sustainability journey, he received his Masters of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University. Along the way, he received his LEED AP O+M and Fitwel ambassador credentials. He has volunteered with the SDGBC GAP Program, currently chairs the Green Business Committee, and has consulted for the organization since 2018.

Bella recently moved back to San Diego, her hometown, after graduating from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies. She is deeply interested in the interactions between human culture and the environment, and has experience in conservation, resource management, and behavior change projects. Bella is currently serving as a CivicSpark Fellow, an AmeriCorps program that seeks to build local government and community resilience throughout California.
