TUESDAY, MARCH 29 | 4:30 - 6:00 PM | MAYA MOON COLLECTIVE
Join us for the Women+ In Green Climate Cafe!
Our first event of the year will be held at Maya Moon Collective. We will get to meet, and hear from Kathryn Rogers, founder of Maya Moon, and Nazdira Cuevas, chocolatier. In alignment with this year’s theme of Unexpectedly Green, we will explore the community, equity and local ethos of Maya Moon.
We will then follow with a lightly facilitated discussion, inspired by the ‘Climate Cafe’ model. The benefits and importance of talking about climate change is to help the community understand the weight of matter. So many of us feel overwhelmed with the current state of climate change. This discussion will offer a chance to connect and speak on how we feel as a collective, rather than what we ‘do’ about it. Our facilitator for the discussion will be Steffi Reyes-Thomas.
Street parking is available.
