We can't wait to hear what you're working on!
If your project/s is/are pushing the boundaries of design, construction, organizational change or policy - we want to hear how your work is making a positive impact, what is driving your projects, how you are using data, or innovative strategies that are disrupting the status quo. Although not mandatory, we are particularly excited about projects that discuss Health & Wellness, Net Zero (Energy, Water, Waste), Equitable Development & Affordable Housing, Resiliency & Climate Change.
Allocated time for each session is 60 minutes. Preference will be given to sessions that showcase multiple perspectives and break silos between departments, industries or sectors.
This event attracts over 250 local professionals, our typical SDGBC event audience spans a broad range of professional experts.
Please keep your presentation to a maximum of 3 presenters and a moderator, unless you are proposing a special format such as an interactive workshop.
Proposals are due: Friday, June 21st, 2019 at 6:00pm
We will contact all teams with selection results during the first and second week of July.
After the teams are selected, we will ask for:
By July 12th: High-res headshot, brief bio, title, company, and Twitter handle for each speaker/company
By August 30th: Draft of slides, outline of exercises, and all information necessary for GBCI and AIA CEUs approval
During weeks of September 2nd & 9th: SDGBC staff will coordinate a 1hr phone call with all your panel speakers and moderator to provide feedback
By September 20th: Provide final slides and presentation information to SDGBC staff
