San Diego Green Building Council continued to respond to our community's needs despite 2021's continued challenges to work remotely while maintaining community connection.

We were able to provide and produce an incredible array of sustainable education opportunities including: the new Electric Home Cooktop and Building Connections Mentorship programs, Green Assistance Program, Sustainable Building Week SD, Greenbuild 2021, Legacy Project and the Green Homes Tour-- all within a year! Already two months into 2022 SDGBC will be doing even more to change our built environment starting with the launch of the San Diego Regional Green Business Network. The success of our educational programs demonstrates San Diego's eagerness to learn how to be a part of the sustainable movement and that we are serving our community by democratizing green building education, accessibility, and resources.

The SDGBC along with all of our members, participants, and volunteers play vital roles in changing our climate narrative. Moving through 2022, we will continue to call upon our SDGBC community to reinforce our mission and vision. We can't wait to make more accomplishments together as we promote goals in Decarbonization, Water Reuse, Health and Wellness, and Equity!
